Sea Dog is Proud to Be Coming Home to Camden
Wednesday, March 2, 2016
Sea Dog Brewing Company is returning to its roots in the heart of downtown Camden. This June, Cappy’s Chowder House will reopen as a Sea Dog Brew Pub, bringing new life to the iconic building.
The space will undergo improvements, but retain the original charm and character of Cappy’s. “We’re looking forward to being a part of the Camden community,” said owner Fred Forsley, “and making the locals proud of the beer that was born there.” Sea Dog Brew Pub will continue to pay homage to Cappy Quinn, a man who loved the bay, boats, and life.
The original Sea Dog Brewing Company was founded in Camden in 1993. Since purchasing Sea Dog in 2003, Fred Forsley has opened six Sea Dog Brew Pubs and has expanded the distribution of Sea Dog’s handcrafted beers to over 40 states nationwide.
This summer, stop in for a great meal and cold pint at the new Camden Sea Dog on Main Street.
