For many years, Shipyard Brewing Company has been a champion of running events all over the east coast, but our longest-tenured sponsorships reside here in Southern Maine. Alike the tradition of the Shipyard Old Port Half Marathon, each year we look forward to our 2 annual fall/winter fun runs in the Kennebunk area: Wicked 5K/10K and Shipyard Seaside Santa Dash. Both events are centered at LIVEME in Kennebunk for great food, live music and of course, Shipyard Beer!
Wicked 5k/10k
Saturday, October 29, 2022 – Kennebunk, Maine
On the Saturday before Halloween, get in the festive mood with October’s favorite run. The Wicked 5K / 10K (a run/walk) starts and finishes at LIVE Cafe. You’ll get to run along the beautiful Kennebunk beaches including Gooches Beach, Oak Point, Middle Beach and Mothers Beach. With registration you get a race bib, 1 Shipyard beer and a race t-shirt plus discounts on LIVE Cafe’s awesome menu.
Shipyard Seaside Santa Dash
Saturday, December 10, 2022 – Kennebunk, Maine
Everybody needs a December Run to keep themselves Fit & Jolly through the Holidays. Here you go! The Shipyard Seaside Santa Dash. We’ll be running along the beaches and roads of the Kennebunks of Maine for the 5K Run/Walk, 10K Run and Elf Dash all out of LIVE Cafe. With registration (if registered by 9/15/22 ) you get a Santa suit (or elf), race bib, race Tee, 1 Shipyard beer and LIVE Cafe’s awesome chili. JOIN THE BEST POST RACE AFTER-PARTY – Shipyard Prelude Winter Warmer will be featured at LIVE Cafe for the race.
