We took the popular Smashed Pumpkin and left it to age inside the oaky wooden staves of Buffalo Trace and Woodford Reserve Bourbon barrels, taking an already-robust brew and giving it a real boost into the land of big and bold. The beer was aged for three months for an even fuller and richer flavor imbued with the essence of spiced and slightly-sweet bourbon. Each can of Smashed Pumpkin Bourbon Barrel-Aged is hand-labeled with the year and barrel number of the barrel where it was aged for a uniquely personal touch.
